GPT4SMEs – Generative AI Training for SMEs in VET Contexts
GPT4SMEs is an Erasmus+ KA210-VET project (2026–2028) designed to strengthen the practical generative artificial intelligence (AI) skills of employees in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Bringing together partners from Germany, Estonia and Türkiye, the project develops an innovative, modular vocational training model that helps SME employees integrate generative AI into everyday workplace activities, including employee onboarding, internal knowledge management and content creation. Through needs analysis, international training activities and practical testing in six SMEs, the partnership will develop and refine three task-specific AI assistants, helping employees improve efficiency, digital competence and independent problem-solving while promoting responsible and ethical AI use. The project will also produce a transferable training toolkit, practical learning resources and recommendations to support the wider adoption of generative AI across European SMEs.
