VET-AI INDUSTRY LABS – Advancing Inclusive Digital Transformation through Applied AI Co-Creation
VET-AI INDUSTRY LABS is a 30-month Erasmus+ KA220-VET Cooperation Partnership (2026–2029), co-funded by the European Union with a total budget of €250,000. Bringing together six partner organisations from Germany, Belgium, Czechia, Türkiye, Estonia and Greece, the project aims to bridge the gap between vocational education and training (VET) and the rapidly evolving demands of AI-driven workplaces. Through collaboration between VET institutions, technology experts and industry stakeholders, the partnership will develop practical AI learning modules focusing on AI-assisted programming and applied AI in data analysis, organise international training activities and implement hands-on AI Industry Labs where students and educators can explore real-world workplace challenges. Particular attention is given to inclusive participation, especially for learners with fewer opportunities, while strengthening teachers’ digital competences and supporting the long-term integration of AI-based learning approaches into vocational education. The project ultimately seeks to equip young people with future-oriented digital skills, improve their employability and foster stronger connections between education, innovation and industry.
